An overview
Camps, schools, corporates, and online - three core programs and a handful of one-off engagements that all start with the same thing: a properly aimed telescope and someone willing to teach.
A note on scheduling
Our popular Camping Under the Stars events are conducted only on certain dates based on the weather forecast - most are announced about 2 weeks before. Planned outings show up on the events page, on Facebook, and on Instagram the moment they're confirmed.

Camps
Introduction to Astronomy - Overnight Camp
We typically conduct these camps at our main observatory at Denkanikottai. The camp is open to all age groups and we usually view celestial objects through a 16-inch telescope - a sizeable instrument, but not even the largest in our inventory. For our intermediate and advanced camps with the 20-inch, see the blog.
We also conduct camps 2–3 times a year in Coorg, at Balyabane in Theralu. Beyond that, we run custom astronomy sessions at resorts and hotels around the country - most recently at Highranges Farmstay in Idukki.

Schools
Astronomy in Schools
We conduct astronomy programs at both private schools and government ones. At schools we run solar astronomy sessions during the day and - if the school is interested - evening sessions for students and parents.
For government schools and NSS programs, we sponsor the entire session ourselves or through sponsorship from astronomy enthusiasts in the community. We believe an introduction to the night sky shouldn't depend on a school's budget.

Corporates
Astronomy in Corporates and Private Gatherings
We set up telescopes for corporate offsites, team events, and private gatherings within the city. These can be solar astronomy in the daytime or night-time stargazing - and we're often asked to deliver short talks alongside.
We've also been involved in product launches, astronomy prop setups for film and photo shoots, and celebratory events where the night sky is the centrepiece.
